  Vehicle related features

  • Vehicles travel on the highway with definable speed, and traffic density
  • View the environment by riding as a passenger in any vehicle or aircraft.
  • Travel in or behind/above vehicles, look in any direction as you travel.
  • Or choose to manually drive or fly with utter freedom around the environment.

Screen Resolution

The software runs at any resolution supported by your graphics card.

Any object is animatable - eg vehicles, pedestrians, wind turbines...

Fly/drive/walk to any location in the environment.

'Play' any of the predefined inbuilt journeys, or design, save and replay your own journeys.

Video Capture

Create AVI video drive/ fly-throughs based on an inbuilt journeys or your own.

Create and save defined viewpoints anywhere in the environment and jump to them at any time.

Switch between perspective and plan view with just one keypress.

View trees at variable heights corresponding to defined years of growth.

Accuracy

The Reality4D environment is accurate to less than a millimetre, with a current landmass of 400 square kilometres, surrounded by infinite sea.

 

Usage

It may be apparent from the above that we have developed the system with Public Exhibitions and Inquiries in mind. However, we also believe that this technology will have benefits in scheme design and assessment. 

 

For example, you can observe and assess moving vehicles or wind-turbines from any viewpoint.

 

Due to the interaction between modelling and programming, Reality4D Consultancy  is offered as a service by TLA Data Systems and 2B Landscape Consultancy on a per-project basis, rather than as a piece of stand-alone software.
 

We can carry out all the modelling for you, combine datasets you provide, or take your architectural or engineering models and import them into Reality4D .

 

Performance

The Reality4D software engine was designed to run on any contemporary 3D-capable Windows PC.  Performance is therefore subject to the PC's specification and the complexity of the modeled environment.

 

Nevertheless, with this in mind, we expect the level of detail and realism of Reality4D environments to increase exponentialy with each leap forward in PC technology.
